My pledge， My oath

 

I can't stand my poor English! I can't stand my shyness and laziness! I can't stand being laughed at! I can't stand my years of wasted time! I can't stand being less than I know I can be! I'm dying to conquer English! I'm dying to improve my situation! I'm dying to transcend myself! I'm dying to change my life! I must speak beautiful and perfect English! I must conquer my fear and self-doubt! I must become the master of the world's two most important languages -- Chinese and English!

I enjoy losing face! I enjoy making mistakes! I enjoy yelling English! I get up early every morning and practice English crazily! I read English before and after every meal! I blurt out every word, every sentence and every passage passionately! I always influence the people around me!

I truly believe that all my effort, devotion, enthusiasm and hard work will eventually pay off! I truly believe that all the time, money, energy and determination I've invested will produce generous returns! I truly believe that all the difficulties, frustrations, failures and tears will make me a stronger person!

I will do it no matter if it rains, snows or blows, I will do it no matter if I feel tired, frustrated or sad! I will do it no matter how tight my schedule is!

Nothing and nobody can stand in my way! Nothing and nobody can discourage me! Nothing and nobody can hinder my progress! Nothing and nobody can take the place of my crazy self-improvement pursuit!

Whenever I think about my splendid plan, I'm full of power! Whenever I think about my shining and successful future, I'm full of power! Whenever I think about myself speaking eloquent English, I'm full of power!

Nothing is impossible with self-confidence and persistence! Nothing in the world can take the place of perseverance and practice! Action speak louder than words! Storms make trees grow deeper routes! Pain present is pleasure! If I can dream it, I can do it! Challenges make life more colorful! It's impossible to defeat a person who never gives up! Quitters never win, winners never quit!

I believe I can! I will never, never and never give up! Never say never and never say die! You will never know what you can do until you try! Today we have come together for a common goal! And we will act together for a common goal! I believe I can! Yes I can! Yes I can! Yes I can!
